WHAT A YEAR!

Ricky Paul Rieve, 37, a native of Houma and resident of Gray, passed away on June 1, 2018.
He is survived by his parents, Robin R. and Richard “Boogie” Rieve; brother, Randy Rieve and wife, Brittney; sisters, Rachael Stoufflet and husband, Ernie, Renee Rieve; grandmother, Barbara Robicheaux “Granny”; nephews, Parker Rieve and Cohen Stoufflet; neice, Payden Rieve; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and godchildren.
Ricky was a person who always enjoyed life to its fullest; he was all about his family and friends. His all-time high came when he was in his boat fishing or crabbing. About a year and a half ago one of his many dreams came true when the Bayou Blue Fire Dept. accepted him on as a Volunteer Firefighter and also awarded him with a Volunteer of The Year plaque for his first year. He was taken from us much too soon, but we will treasure every second of the 37 years we had with him!
