Roger Henry

Roger Joseph Henry, age 61, a native of Bourg and resident of Houma, passed away Saturday Sept. 15, 2018. at 4:43 p.m.

Mr. Roger is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Betty Shipe Henry; son, James and wife, Emily Todd Henry; daughters, Amanda K. Shipe and significant other, Jonathan Boudreaux, and Christina Medice; sister, Linda and husband, Gerald Brunet; and grandchildren, Heidi Medice, Matthew Medice, Kyla Bartley and Zaely Boudreaux.

Mr. Roger was a draftsman at Gulf Island Fabrication for almost 30 years. He was a long-time member of Bayou Country Coin Club. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who loved to hunt, fish, bowl and collect coins and stamps He was an avid Saints and LSU fan. He was loved by many and those who knew him will miss him.
