Rose Marie Louise Bonnecarrere Weaks, 91, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018 at 12:06AM. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Houma, LA.
Services were held in private at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church in Houma, LA.
Rose is survived by her daughters, Sheila Weaks Chauvin and husband Darryl Sr., Denise Rose Weaks and husband Eldridge “Chuck” Serpas; son, Spencer Maurice Weaks and wife Juanita; six grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.
Rose was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed traveling and meeting people throughout her life. She worked hand-in-hand with her husband as co-owner of Luckey’s Jewelers. After her retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, going to the movies and traveling.
The family would like to thank the caregivers and staff at Ashton Manor for their love, care and attention.
