A reason for optimism?

Sharon Kay Lirette, 61, a native of Warsaw, Missouri and resident of Houma, La., died on September 24, 2016.
Mrs. Lirette was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who dedicated her life to caring for all of her family. While her greatest joy in life was her children and grandchildren, she also enjoyed the small things, like sitting by the water, fishing with her daughter.
She is survived by her parents, Bill and Dorothy (Wooster) Richison; children: Russell Thomas, Christina (Enke) Dupre and husband Nick, Derrick Lirette; siblings Brenda Parsons, Chiquita Thompson (Charlie), Kenneth Johnson (Debi), Billy Richison (Linda), Theresa Johnson and five grandchildren.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, a donation in Mrs. Lirette’s name be made to the American Cancer Society or to your local Hospice.
