Steven Bernard Pellegrin Sr., 80, a resident of Chauvin, La., died on Tuesday, November 22, 2016.
Mr. Pellegrin was a lifelong resident of Terrebonne Parish, a 1955 graduate of Terrebonne High School and a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was a retired tug boat captain and commercial fisherman aboard the “Captain Sy.” He was renowned for his dancing ability and loved spending time with loved ones, being on the water and watching sports.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Bertha Mae Robichaux Pellegrin; children, Deborah (Steve) Trosclair, Kim Spence, Steven Pellegrin Jr. and Stacey (Liz) Pellegrin and Rhonda (Todd) Credeur; siblings, Gloria (Milton) Babin and Ronald Pellegrin; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild on the way.
Burial is at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery in Chauvin.
