Founded in 1989, Hilcorp Energy Co. is one of the largest privately-held independent oil and natural gas exploration and production companies in the United States. Zydeco Pipeline Company
Zydeco Pipeline Company is jointly owned by Shell Pipeline Company and Shell Midstream Partners. The company provides refineries and terminals in the Southeast with pipeline access to additional sources of growing light crude oil production arriving in the Houston market from the Eagle Ford shale, Bakken shale and also Permian Basin.

Transcontinental Gas
One of the largest interstate gas pipeline systems in North America, the Transco pipeline delivers natural gas to its customers through its 9,700-mile mainline and branch transmission

With rates that the company boasts are “the lowest in Louisiana,” SLECA is governed by a nine-member board of directors who are elected to three-year terms. The local electric company has offices in Houma and Amelia. The business takes pride on being open with its customers. Bell South Telecommunications is a subsidiary of Bell South Corporation, which was purchased by conglomerate AT&T in 2006. The company continues to be the leading telecommunications provider in Terrebonne, providing phone lines and internet capabilities to thousands of residents in the area.

Manson Gulf LLC has been around for 110 years and counting. Established in 1905, Manson started off as a small, family-owned Puget Sound marine pile driving business. The company thrives as an employee-owned company that now has a second, third and sometimes even fourth-generation workforce. Manson owns and operates 60 specialized vessels and more than 50 barges. The store continues to expand in the local market, as well. In the past 12 months, a neighborhood market opened up in both Thibodaux and Houma, keeping a family-like feel to the grocer.

Baker Hughes Oilfield
For more than 100 years, Baker Hughes Oilfield has had roots in the oil and gas industry. In 1907, Rueben C. Baker developed a casing shoe that modernized cable tool drilling and changed the industry. Today, the company is an oilfield power. In 1987, Baker International merged with Hughes Tool Company – a merger that further grew the company’s influence in the oil and gas world. Since that time, Baker-Hughes has also acquired and integrated numerous oilfield pioneers, including Brown Oil Tools, Elder Oil Tools, Drilex, Tri-State and Wilson. The company currently has nine geomarket management teams around the globe.

The company has roots that trace all the way back to the 1800s. Today, it’s a business that has more than $3 billion in operating income, is publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange and which employs more than 60,000 people around the world.

Hornbeck Offshore Services
In 1980, after managing a publicly traded, multinational offshore marine services vessel company for 11 years, Larry Hornbeck launched his own vision of success by founding the original Hornbeck Offshore Services, Inc. in Galveston, Texas. One year later, he took the company public on the NASDAQ and traded under the symbol “HOSS.” Over the next 16 years, HOSS grew through new construction and seven acquisitions into the second largest offshore services vessel fleet in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico with over 100 vessels operating worldwide. HOSS was merged into Tidewater in 1996, however, Larry wisely retained the rights to the company name and logo to pass on to the next generation. Hornbeck proclaims it will continue to go strong in the oil and gas industry in the future.

Hercules Drilling Co. is a provider of offshore shallow-water contract drilling and liftboat services. Its fleet – 36 jackup drilling rigs and 24 liftboats – operates in water depths ranging from nine to 400 feet and can drill to maximum water depths ranging from 15,000 to 35,000 feet.
Hercules is capable of providing services such as oil and gas exploration and development drilling, well service, platform inspection, maintenance and decommissioning operations in shallow market waters.
