Terrebonne General Medical Center (TGMC) honors Debra Duet as the third Leader of the Quarter for 2019. Duet is the Manager of Respiratory and Cardio Diagnostic Services and has held this position tor 7 years, but has bean an employee of TGMC for 28 years.
Duet’s staff recognizes her as a role model by example through hard work, a positive attitude and dedication. She is always giving it her all and putting heir best foot forward for the hospital to reach and exceed set goals. She is well respected, by not only the employees that she manages, but also any employees she engages with on the different projects or committees that she is involved with.
‘This organization employs some of the best and brightest talent here in Terrebonne Parish and I am truly amazed that I am a part of this very successful and innovative healthcare facility,” said Duet. “I am humbled and really do feel like this award is a credit to leadership, as well as a credit to my team for all of our hard work in providing the best possible Respiratory Care to the patients who seek healthcare here at TGMC. I am blessed to be a part of this Leadership Development Team and will continue to strive for excellence as I continue on the path to providing exceptional healthcare with compassion to our community.”
In an effort to recognize outstanding leaders, TGMC implemented the Leader of the Quarter award. Recipients demonstrate outstanding and consistent commitment to the wellbeing of our patients, their extended families and staff. They also must fulfill TGMC’s mission of providing exceptional healthcare with compassion while serving as strong role models to their peers. TGMC Leader of the Quarter recipients are nominated internally by fellow staff.
