HONORABLE MENTION: E.D. White’s offensive line — The Cardinals got their first win of the season on Friday night, and the team’s offensive line played a huge role in the win, opening up big-time holes for the team’s playmakers.

BRONZE: Thibodaux athlete Tyler Brown — With Friday’s game against East St. John still very much up for grabs, Brown made a huge play, returning an interception 87 yards and taking it to the house to help give his team an advantage. The Tigers have now won four-straight after an opening-week loss.

SILVER: Vandebilt halfback Michael LeCompte — As if the Terriers needed more offensive weapons, Lecompte broke out on Friday night, helping

Vandebilt score a huge victory over the Greenies. The junior halfback rushed 17 times for 188 yards to help Vandebilt get a huge victory over Newman.

GOLD: H.L. Bourgeois quarterback Jude LeCompte — Down big against Central Lafourche, LeCompte played about as well as he ever has in his storied career, gashing the Trojans defense for 224 yards rushing and two touchdowns to help the Braves rally back and score a huge victory.
