THIBODAUX-41 C. LAFOURCHE-20

The Tigers use another huge game from Donnell Adair to push past their cross-parish rivals in a big game for both teams. After losing two-straight to start the season, Thibodaux is now on a roll, having won four-straight. For the Trojans, the schedule doesn’t get any easier, as Destrehan and Hahnville await in the next two weeks.

H.L. BOURGEOIS-29 WESTGATE-0

The Braves get their fifth win in a Thursday night shutout over Westgate in New Iberia. The Braves defense is one of the best-kept secrets in the Houma-Thibodaux area. H.L. Bourgeois has allowed just 20 or more points in only one game this season.

HAHNVILLE-41 TERREBONNE-10

After a close, hard-fought first quarter, Hahnville easily pushes past Terrebonne to get their third win of the season. Terrebonne’s defense needs a shot in the arm, now having allowed 40 or more points in three-straight games. Terrebonne’s schedule doesn’t get any easier. The Tigers will take on 5-1 Lakeshore Friday in a non-district matchup.

ASSUMPTION – 28 ELLENDER-26

The Mustangs fall behind early, thanks to several turnovers, but use a second-half rally to defeat a very game Ellenderteam. The Patriots had a chance to win the game late, but couldn’t get the go-ahead score to down the Mustangs.

S. LAFOURCHE-34 MORGAN CITY-2

The Tarpons’ defense dominated Morgan City’s Wing-T offense, completely shutting out the Tigers on Friday night. Quarterback Jaydon Cheramie had his best game of the season, hitting several big passes to take the top off the Tigers’ usually-game defense.

VANDEBILT-31 S.TERREBONNE-7

The Terriers jump out to 1-0 in district play with a comfortable victory over the Gators, who remain winless on the season. Vandebilt endured a ton of early-season injuries, but is now beginning to find its groove.

E.D. WHITE-21 THOMAS JEFFERSON – 20

It wasn’t easy, but the Cardiac Cardinals found a way to win again. Outside of the team’s season opener with Vandebilt and a blowout win against Franklin on October 2, every, single game E.D. White has played has gone down to the final seconds. Expect the same when the team tangles with Patterson on Friday.

CCA-36 RIDGEWOOD-22

The Lions rebound from two-straight losses with an easy district-opening win over Ridgewood. Next up for CCA is a road test against Varnadc – a game that just might decide the District 8-1A district championship.

H.CHRISTIAN-42 ST. MARTIN’S – 7

The Warriors pound St. Martin’s to earn their second win of the season. Houma Christian started the season slow offensively, but has since turned the corner, having scored 20 or more points in four-straight games.

Next week’s schedule
