HONORABLE MENTION: Ellender Memorial offensive line – The Patriots got their first district win of the season on Friday night, using a dominant performance at the line of scrimmage to push past Morgan City in decisive fashion.

BRONZE: Thibodaux halfback Donnell Adair – The bruising halfback can win gold every single week if we really wanted to continually hand him the honor. Adair was dominant again on Friday in a Thibodaux win. He rushed for 182 yards and a touchdown on Friday night against H.L. Bourgeois – the Tigers’ fifth-straight win on the season.

SILVER: South Lafourche halfback Corbin Allen – The Tarpons sophomore halfback was a beast on Friday night against Vandebilt. Allen rushed for 142 yards on 25 carries, including a game-winning touchdown with four minutes left in the fourth quarter. He also caught a touchdown pass on fourth and goal to cut into the Terriers lead.

GOLD: Houma Christian athlete Devin Battaglia – The Houma Christian senior has had a great season for the Warriors. On Friday, he was at his absolute best, catching five passes for 71 yards, while also scoring an interception return for a touchdown and an 80-yard punt return for a score.
