From the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office:

Throughout the month of April 2020, detectives and patrol deputies investigated several mini storage burglaries on Westside Boulevard behind Cannata’s Family Market.

Storage locks were damaged by suspects, who were looking for items to steal.

One of the items stolen was a Schwinn Meridian (three-wheeler) tricycle, red/maroon in color. The trike had a standard metal basket on the back, and a small after-market tan basket mounted on the front handlebars. It belongs to a young girl who has special needs.

When it was stolen, the tricycle’s tires were flat.

A picture of the type of tricycle that was stolen can be viewed above.

Anyone with any information about this stolen tricycle is encouraged to contact the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office at 876-2500, or the Crime Stoppers tip line, 1-800-743-7433
