BTNEP to partner with Murals by Kassie to paint storm drains in Downtown Houma

Kassie Voisin, owner and artist behind Murals By Kassie, is gearing up to begin a newest project in partnership with the BTNEP and Downtown Houma-- painting storm drains downtown in order to raise awareness about water pollution, while adding some color to what would otherwise be eye sores.

“Our event is a unique fundraiser because we encourage visitors to create art. It also features special exhibitions of art and the art auction. Colonels advance to title game with overtime win against Islanders

After a physical 40 minutes were not enough to determine a winner between No. 3-seeded Nicholls and No. 2 Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, the Colonels outscored the Islanders 12-4 in overtime for an 81-73 victory Tuesday night to advance to the title game of the 2024 Southland Conference Tournament.
