Child ingests narcotic-laced candy bar; leads to an arrest by TPSO

On Friday, February 23rd, the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division was called to a local hospital, in reference to a minor child ingesting a chocolate candy bar, believed to contain illegal narcotics. Sayonta Calloway, 19, of Houma, was arrested on charges in connection with the investigation.

Homeowner shoots man during home invasion in Roberta Grove

On February 20th, 2024 at approximately 5:15am the Houma Police Department responded to a shooting in the 300 block of Roberta Grove Blvd. Dex Hebert was charged with one count of Simple Burglary, and an outstanding warrant for Probation Violation. Hebert was shot by the homeowner during the invasion, but was released after treatment.

Suspect wanted in January shooting incident at MLK Blvd and Savanne Road

WANTED SUSPECT: TPSO Detectives have located evidence that links a suspect to the investigation, who has been identified as Devonta M. Gunner, 20, of Gray, La.  Detectives have obtained warrants for Gunner’s arrest for charges of Attempted Second Degree Murder and Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property. Devonta Gunner should be considered Armed and Dangerous and should not be approached by members of the general public.

UPDATE: Lockport Man Charged with Murder in Stabbing Incident

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced the arrest of a Lockport man who has been charged with murder following a stabbing incident on Sunday. Tre’ Booty, 18, was arrested shortly after the incident which resulted in the death of Hunter Parks, 20, of Larose.

Three Charged as Narcotics Agents Seize a Variety of Drugs and Guns at Lockport Residence

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced three people were charged after narcotics agents searched a Lockport residence last week. Brett Loupe, 29, of Lockport, Blaize Guidroz, 18, of Gibson, and Sadie Vedros, 19, of Mathews each face charges stemming from the search.

Shooting in Gray leaves two dead

On Friday night, TPSO was called to a shooting incident on Willowdale Drive. An adult male and adult female were found deceased, and Detectives were called to the scene. Through further investigation, Detectives determined that the victims were parade-goers, who were viciously gunned down in the front yard of their residence as they returned home.
