Over 30 pounds of marijuana, 1 pound of mushroom extract, ¾ pound of mushrooms, 52 individual THC vaping pens, ¾ ounce of ground mushrooms, 3,230 gross grams of liquid promethazine, an assortment of drug paraphernalia, two 9mm Handguns and $1,163.00 were found inside residence.

The man allegedly threatened a woman at gun point, struck her in the head, and stole cash from her purse.

Agents recovered marijuana, mushrooms, methamphetamine, clonazepam, hydrocodone pills, hash powder, and generic form of Viagra. Agents also recovered eight firearms and cash along with various drug paraphernalia.

Justin Ross Sons, 33, was arrested on charges of Attempted First Degree Murder of a Police Officer, Resisting an Officer by Force or Violence, and three additional outstanding warrants. 

On March 25, 2024, shortly after midnight the Houma Police Department responded to a shooting in the 600 block of Duval Street. Numerous gunshots were fired at the home and in the process a 7-year-old child was shot.

On March 12, 2024, the Louisiana State Police Insurance Fraud/Auto Theft Unit New Orleans Field Office received a report from the Thibodaux Police Department regarding a series of vehicle burglaries and auto thefts that took place in Lafourche Parish, near Thibodaux. On March 22, 2024, detectives and Troopers, supported by LSP SWAT, successfully obtained and executed multiple search and arrest warrants at various locations in New Orleans East.

The Nicholls State University Police Department is currently investigating a hit and run in which a pedestrian was struck and injured.

​TPSO Detectives have obtained video surveillance images of the offender responsible and are using those images to try and identify the perpetrator.

Thibodaux Police Chief Bryan Zeringue announced detectives are investigating a shooting that took place in the 1300 block of St. Charles Street shortly after midnight.

Kentrell Dominic Young, 39, of Thibodaux, is wanted for numerous felony related charges connected to the investigation.

Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Tim Soignet announced the arrest of a pair of men, in connection with a traffic stop investigation. Sean Michael Francis, 27, of Gray, and Michael Ross, 18, of Chauvin, were arrested for traffic and narcotics-related offenses, in connection with the incident.

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced narcotics agents arrested two individuals following a search of a Raceland residence. Hali Toups, 27, of Raceland and Ryan Toups, 29, of Gheens were both arrested.
