The vast majority of locals have electricity again after Hurricane Barry.

Entergy’s updated outage figures show that while there are still some locals without electricity, incidents are far more isolated than they were over the weekend.

In Lafourche, there are just 49 customers without power. In Terrebonne, the figure is higher with 512 still without electricity.

Those numbers mark a huge improvement from this past weekend when more than 20,000 locals were without electricity.

The areas without power now are areas where some of the most serious storm damage occurred locally and/or places where high waters slowed down work.
