QUESTIONS:

What is a talent you have few people know about? I can still play my clarinet from high school and play the old Budweiser song from memory. And I can whistle really loud without using my fingers.

If you had to spend a year on a deserted island, what one thing would you take along? My gun

You’re a multi-million dollar lotto winner. What are you going to do?

I would make sure all of my family were taken care of and would want for nothing. I would still keep my job as Director of the Cut Off Youth Center, they just wouldn’t have to pay me.

Who is your role model? Why?

Danny Givens, my Dad. He was a hard worker, a good supervisor, who didn’t just sit back and bark orders, but got in and worked alongside. Always there to lend a helping hand to family and friends who were down on their luck. Always put family first, himself last. He’s got the rough exterior, John Wayne, attitude, but a big hearted teddy bear inside.

If you were a superhero, who would you be and what would your super power be?

A Superhero who would have multiple clones. So when I schedule myself to be in two places at the same time, I can accomplish that with ease.

TV show guilty pleasure? The Housewives series, the OC, New Jersey and Beverly Hills mostly. (not proud of that at all)

Proudest moment?

Being present when my first Grandbaby, a boy, was born.

What’s on your nightstand? My cell phone charging

How do you friends describe you? Caring, loving, speak my mind and compassionate person.

Describe your dream adventure? Visiting Scotland and touring the old castles and such.

I wish I could do ____________ better. Time management

Describe your dream job. I’m doing it, Director of a youth center. It has its ups and downs, but mostly ups. I love helping people, and this job does a lot of that.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? A Mom. I had the best mom, and I wanted to be as good a mom as she was.

What was your best gift ever? I was about 7 when I got my red Schwinn bike, with the banana flower seat and the white basket on the handle bars. I got it from Santa and it was so cold outside, I first rode it up and down our hall way, till it warmed up enough to go outside with it.
