Irving A. Kliebert, 85, a native of Vacherie, La., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 5:40 p.m. Wednesday, July 9.
He is survived by one son, Irving Kliebert Jr.; one brother, A.J. Kliebert Jr.; one sister, Marion Kliebert Rodrigue; five nieces, Linda Mahler Theriot, Elaine Mahler, Sylvia Mahler, Janet Paul and Janice Mahler; two nephews, Joey Mahler and Glenn Mahler; and three bright stars, Tiffany Lagarde, Brittany Lagarde and Johnny Mahler.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Haas Kliebert; his parents, Alcee and Noema Luquette Kliebert; one brother, Earl Kliebert; three sisters, Ruth K. Mahler, Lois and Louise Kliebert; and one niece, Margaret Mahler Gilmore.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 12, at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in Thibodaux with mass to follow. He will be buried at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
