Nicholls State University summer camps can help your child conduct science experiments, learn how to play an instrument and become a Disney princess.

The Office of Continuing Education offers weekly, monthly and 8- to 9-week options during the months of June and July. Offerings include full- and half-day options. Campers will swim, play games and sports, use computer labs, engage in educational enriched sessions and complete arts and crafts.

Colonel Camper is a full-day program that focuses on academics in the morning, and activities in the afternoon. Colonel Camper Extreme is a full-day option for recreation and sports. The Colonel Academy is a half-day option that focuses on preparing the camper for the upcoming school year.

Specialized camps include Middle School MBA, hands-on science exploration, performing arts, music, coding, chess, art, green-screen video, medical science, cheer and many more.

Registration for all camps is available now at https://www.nicholls.edu/continuing-ed/youth-summer-camps. A full-day camp runs from 7:50 a.m. to 5 p.m., with lunch and snacks included. The age range for campers is 4 years old to 17 years old depending on the camp.

Costs vary and include options at $210 for full-day weekly, $110 for half-day weekly, $750 monthly, $1,225 for eight weeks and $1,350 for nine weeks. Sibling discounts are also available for the 8- or 9-week options only.
