Marie Louise Hotard, 81, of Vacherie, passed away peacefully in her home on January 6, 2022.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church from 8:00 am until 9:00 am for the family and 9:00 am until 11:00 am for the public. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, at 11:00 am. Burial will take place in the Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Virgil Falgoust, daughters, Mary Jo’el Bordelon and Charlotte Granier; Brother, Robert Tregre (Patty); sisters, Earline Kraemer and Sally Dufrene (LJ); Grandchildren, Daran Falgoust (Bethany), Lance Bordelon (Sarah), Allen Bordelon (Kayla), Melinda Granier (Kalem), and Anthony Granier; Great Grandchildren, Kaden, Jaden, Adylese, Sophia, Levi, Isaiah, Kenzlee, and Dylan Jr.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thedore Hotard Jr.; Parents, Beronie and Vinia Tregre; Brothers, Guy, Benoit, Herbert, Alfred, Edwin, and Lee Tregre; Sisters, Elda Breaux and Lucy Tregre; Great Grandson, Jasper and Elijah Broden.
Louise was a very loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She was a hardworking woman known for her famous stuff crabs and crawfish bis.
