Manuel J. Foret, 80, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Tuesday, January 27.
He is survived by his wife, Pearl Adams Foret; sons, Glenn J. Foret and wife Gwen of Baton Rouge, La., and Keith J. Foret of Jacksonville, Fl.; daughter, Trudy A. Foret of Raceland; sisters, Rena F. Falgout and Effie F. Utlser; and grandchild, Steven J. Foret of Baton Rouge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George E. Foret and Cornelia Bourgeois Foret; brother, Reed Foret; and sister, Joyce F. Dufrene.
He was the owner of Manuel’s Barber Shop in Baton Rouge and Raceland. He was also a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, January 31, at St. Mary Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. with burial at the church cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
