Shelby Ann Dufrene Adams, 71, a native of Westwego, La., and resident of Cut Off, La., died Saturday, June 14, 2014.
She is survived by her former husband, Horace Adams; son, Gerard Adams; daughters Priscilla Adams and Justine Fringer; brother, Anthony Lombas; sisters, Rita Picou, Loretta Breaux and Gwen Griffin; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nory and Doris Dufrene; brothers, Layton Dufrene and Davis Lombas; sister, Barbara Dufrene; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, at Samart-Mothe Funeral Chapel in Cut Off with services to follow. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
