Claire is a junior outside hitter on a South Lafourche High School volleyball team that made it to the Pontchartrain Center for the second-straight Season. The Lady Tarpons are senior-heavy, but Claire still established herself as one of the top hitters on the team-a key piece that allowed the team to hare a dominant Season in Division II
STATS:
Claire was one of South Lafourche’s leaders in Mils and aces. She was one of the top offensive players in the district and was named to the All-District teem for her efforts this season.
GOALS:
To do the best that I can to keep getting better I want to become one of the leaders an this team next fall and keep having fun with my teammates.”
WORKING ON:
Leaping, timing strength and anything to be a better player.
STRENGTHS:
Versatility, athleticism, jumping ability.
CREDENTIALS:
South. Lafourche High School had a lot of good volleyball players this fell But Claire Chiasson was a good one. The person who nominated Claire for this award said he did so because, “she is a great player and a great kid,” adding that, “She didn’t get the credit She deserved for an amazing South Lafourche season. Great job, Claire and congrats on a successful junior year.
