“Our new location at 1411 St. Charles Street next to Walgreens and across from Rouse’s Market brings our emergency room trained providers and dedicated medical staff, and services to Houma to serve the community when they need us,” said Brennan Uter, Coastal Urgent Care of Louisiana LLC’s, manager in a printed statement. “We have local providers serving their friends and neighbors.”

The new location will be staffed by local emergency room trained medical professionals and will provide treatment for pediatric and adult, non-life and limb threatening injuries and illnesses.

Coastal Urgent Care offers shorter wait times and lower costs than a visit to an emergency room, and patients can expect convenient, quality care in the neat, family-friendly facility. The office’s coordinated care plan will also see that complete treatment records are sent to a patient’s primary care physician for follow-up, if required

The office will be open from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. daily, and a downloadable new patient information is available at www.coastalurgentcarehouma.com to help speed up registration. Patients may also reach the facility at (985) 709-0136.

The facility will also provide aid for sports injuries, sports physicals, sports medicine and daycare and camp physicals, and on-site lab, EKG, X-ray, and IV fluid hydration services are also available.
