Mrs. Carolyn V. Danos

Mrs. Carolyn V. Danos, 68, a native and resident of Cut Off, La., died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009 at 6:15 a.m.

She is survived by her husband, Reilly Danos; son, Joseph Danos; daughters, Wendy (Robert) Welch and Kelly (David) Collins; brother, August (Mona) Vegas; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Clara Pitre.

She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she was a member of the Ladies Altar Society. She was a homemaker who enjoyed wallpapering, puzzles, sports, gambling and fishing.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Progressive Supranuclear Palsy.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 13, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of the arrangements.
