June 23, 2010Frances Dagate Waldrip, 77, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 7:06 a.m. Sunday, June 20, 2010.
Mrs. Waldrip was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. She was president of the Saint Joseph’s Italian Society and past President and Queen of the Krewe of Hyacinthians.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Scott Waldrip Sr.; sons, Thomas (Christine) Scott Jr. and Tim (Brenda) Waldrip; daughter, Sheri (Kenneth) Smith; and grandchildren, Angelle, Jennifer, Caley and Sara Smith and Mark Waldrip.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Victoria Callia Dagate; brothers, Vincent Sr., Alex and Anthony “A.J.” Dagate.
She is buried at St. Francis Cemetery No. 1.
