Albert Joseph Delaune Jr., 68, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 9:08 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011.


Mr. Delaune retired as a salesman from the oil industry and was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church.


He was survived by his wife, Marjorie Buquet Delaune; daughters, Amy (Charles Lamarche) Schmidt and Stacy (William) Linden; one granddaughter, Jamie Elizabeth Schmidt; and sisters, Sandra Rhodes and Nancy Mann.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Laura Delaune; twin brother, Alvin Delaune Sr.; and sister, Anita Delaune Brown.

He is buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
