Lidia Savin Saulsberry, 81, a native of Brownsville, Texas, and a resident of Chauvin, La., died Friday, June 19, at 7:10 p.m.
She is survived by her sons, Manuel “Chico” Savin and wife Cindy, Allen Savin and wife Dee, and Daniel Savin and wife Adelia; daughter, Daisy Brunet and husband Randy; brothers, Juan Torres and Lee Trevino; sister, Francis Cuellar; grandchildren, Hank Savin, Danielle Savin, Stacy Sweeten, Penny Duplantis, Sheila Savin, John Savin and Jesse Brunet; 11 great grandchildren; and her special dog “Poncho”.
She was preceded in death by, her first husband, Dennis Savin; second husband, William Saulsberry; mother, Consuelo Cisneros Torres; and brother, Francis Cuellar.
She was Baptist and a homemaker.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, June 22, at Chauvin Funeral Home with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at St. Elie Cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
