Phyllis Knuppel Bynum, 74, a native of Liverpool, England and a resident of Houma, La., died Monday, April 20.
She is survived by her sons, Robert E. Bynum Jr. and wife Tammy of Temecula, Ca., and Leslie Bynum of Houma; daughters, Sheila A. Chancey and husband Richard of Gray, La., and Sandra Allemand and husband Timothy of Houma; 16 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Bynum Sr.; parents, Oswalter Walter Knuppel and Sara Levin Knuppel; son, Bartley Bynum; daughter, Carolyn Lirette; and granddaughter, Michelle Lirette.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, April 24, at Chauvin Funeral Home with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at St. Francis No. 2 Cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
