Carder Jenkins, 75, a native of Gibson, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, February 5.
He is survived by his wife, Irma Jenkins; sons, Roni Jenkins, Carter Robertson, Carl Anderson and girlfriend Meavale, and Carder (C.J.) Anderson and girlfriend Britni; daughters, Tina Henderson, Lisa Robertson, Tanya Anderson Slack and husband Seth, Hester Anderson, Australia Anderson and Brittany Anderson; sisters, Almeta Thompson, Octavia Williams and Dorothy Bartley; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relative and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip Jenkins and Austrlia Mitchell Jenkins; brothers, Henry, Phillip, James, Hebert Sr., and Richard Jenkins; sisters, Hester Jenkins, Annie Mae Granger and Lou Bertha Jenkins; and grandson, Damien Henderson.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thursday, February 12, at Beulah Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 12pm with burial at the church cemetery.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
