Albertha “Bert” McBride Holly, 63, a native of Napoleonville, La., and a resident of Harvey, La., died at West Jefferson Hospital on Wednesday, Feb. 13.
She is survived by her daughters, Andrea Dabney Wallace and husband, Vincent, and Estella Richardson both of Harvey; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one sister; six brothers; and many other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Washington “Jimmie” Holly; her parents, Wilson Sr. and Rosemary McBride Dabney; and two sisters.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at Second Mt. Triumph Missionary Baptist Church in New Orleans, La., followed by a religious service. A second religious service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Woodlawn United Methodist Church in Napoleonville. She will be buried at the church cemetery.
Williams and Southall Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
