June 10, 2010Mary Virginia Hunter Tyler, 88, a former resident of Golden Meadow, La., died Thursday, May 27, 2010 in Lafayette, La.
Mrs. Tyler was instrumental in the incorporation of the town of Golden Meadow where she worked as town clerk for many years.
She is survived by son, Conrell John Tyler Jr.; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
