Sheriff’s ranges give public a new target

Hilda W. Naquin, 96, a native and lifelong resident of Golden Meadow, La., died at 10:40 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010.
Mrs. Naquin was a member of Christian Family Center and Lighthouse Worship Center. She was an elder of the United Houma Nation.
She is survived by her sons, Earl and Richard Naquin; daughter, Laura Billiot; sisters, Enola Hanson, Henrietta Tangalin, Virginia Williams and Annette Collins; 27 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and 35 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Naquin; parents Edgar and Noel Billiot Williams; sons, Lester, Wilton and Woodrow Naquin; daughter, Esther Terrebonne; and brothers, Omar and Roy Williams.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 5, at Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano, and 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, March 6, at Christian Family Center in Galliano. A religious service will follow at 10 a.m. at the family center.
She will be buried at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Larose.
Falgout Funeral Homes of Galliano is in charge of arrangements.
