Ellen Mary Hutcherson Martin, 76, a native of Terrebonne, La., and a resident of Montegut, La., died Monday, July 13, at 12:20 a.m.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Percy P. Martin; three sons, Perry J. Martin and wife Tanna, Ferrell A. Martin and wife Belinda, and Rhal J. Martin and wife Debra; one daughter, Linda A. Martin of Montegut; 11 grandchildren, Mark Martin, Dawn Chauvin, Jodi Breaux, Eric Martin, Billy Martin, Cody Martin, Monica Blanchard, Christy Hebert, Jace Martin, Heidi Martin and Chelsi Martin; and 15 great-grandchildren, Jovi Chauvin, Marki Martin, Kade Breaux, Toby Chauvin, Blake Martin, Kamryn Breaux, Trent Blanchard, Seth Blanchard, Hunter Hebert, Peyton Martin, Jackson Martin, Isabella Chauvin, Cole M. Hebert, Cole A. Martin and Caraline Martin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Irving Bill Hutcherson and wife Ledonia LeBoeuf Hutcherson; and one daughter-in-law, Judy White Martin.
She was a life-long parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Montegut.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Samart Funeral home in Houma, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
