Irma Wilson Beauty, 70, a native and resident of Gibson, La., died Wednesday, Feb. 13, at 10:30 p.m.
She is survived by her husband, James Beauty; son, Brian Beauty and wife, Genia; sister, Betsy Brooks and husband, Cyreal, of Baton Rouge, La.; and one grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Laura C. Brown and Alex and Beulah C. Wilson; brothers, Willie, Alonzo, John, Cooper Humphrey and Clarence Wilson; and sisters, Lillian, Madeline, Rosania, Vivian Mozella and Fabiala Brown, Margaret White and Tee-Tee Matthews.
She was a retired housekeeper supervisor at the Ramada Inn. She was a member of Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, at Community Funeral Home and 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church with funeral services to follow. She will be buried at the church cemetery.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
