Ida Clement, 95, a native Chackbay, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012.
She is survived by her children, Jourdan Clement Jr., Margaret Adams, Myrtle Boudreaux, Meriam (Gerard) Leonard and Anna (Percy Jr.) Gros; sister, Hilda Melancon; brother, Charles (Elsie) Landry; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvain and Helena Landry; husband, Jourdan Clement Sr.; son, Curtis Clement; brothers, Whitney, Joseph and Philip Landry; and sisters, Marie Landry, Josephine Bolotte, Iris Clement and Emelda Benoit.
Burial was at St. John the Evangelist Church Cemetery. (Thibodaux)
