Dorothy Duet Cheramie, 91, a native and resident of Galliano, La., died Tuesday, May 14, 2013.
She is survived by her sons, Ronald Sr. (Mary) and Allen (Joy) Cheramie; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alidor Cheramie; parents, Alcide and Cornelia Duet; son, Donald Cheramie Sr.; brothers, Harrison and Eunice Duet; sister, Eula Gisclair; and half sisters, Barbara Comeaux and Linda Garret.
Burial is at Cheramie Cemetery. (Falgout)
