Mr. Johnny Joseph Fabregas Jr., 83, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, Nov. 27, 2009 at 11:25 a.m.
He is survived by his daughter, Sharon (Clifton Jr.) Zeringue; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was Catholic and a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family and friends. He never met a stranger, for his door was always open to anyone. He selflessly enjoyed cooking for others at his own expense for the mere pleasure of watching the enjoyment of his food by others. He often enjoyed spending time with his grandsons at the local casinos and attending seafood boils in Pierre Part. He will be greatly missed by the family and friends he leaves behind.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 30, at Chauvin Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #1.
