Mansey R. Billiot, 75, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, La., died Sunday, June 19, 2011.
He is survived by his companion, Regina Pitre; son, Percy (Shannon) Billiot; step-sons, Johnny Boudreaux and Donald Pitre; daughters, Belinda (Chris) Kiger and Monica (Rodney) Morgan; step-daughters, Christine Berthaut, Paulette Rowell, Joycelyn Cheramie, Debbie Hornback and Jackie Breaux; brothers, Felton and Herbert Billiot; sisters, Rose Cormier, Olivia Adams and Francis Bergeron; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Corbit and Melanie Billiot; brothers, Leonard, Leander and Antoine Billiot; sisters, Mable Mobley and Mildred Billiot; and granddaughter, April Regan.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday, June 21 at Samart Funeral Home in Cut Off, La., and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 22 at Christian Family Center in Galliano, La. A religious service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church with burial to follow at Dardar Cemetery in Golden Meadow. (Samart-Mothe)
