Vera Williams, 91, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Wednesday, March 16, 2011.
Mrs. Williams was a member of Moses Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Audrey Williams, Mary Ann (Carl) Southall, Brenda Williams and Carolyn Williams; sons, Roy and James Williams; brother, Irvin Williams; sister, Essie Mae Young; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Jane Patterson Williams; one son, Hubert Williams; two brothers, Robert and Herman Williams; two sisters, Annie Mae Celestin and Delma Ellis; one grandson, Michael James; and one great-grandson, Blake Beamon.
She is buried at St. Peters Baptist Church Cemetery. (Kennedy)
