Barbara Scott Callahan, 68, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, September 27.
She is survived by her sons, Gene Callahan Sr. and Shane Callahan both of Houma; Daughter, Mona Callahan Leonard and husband Larry of Houma; brother, Aaron Scott Sr. of Chauvin, La.; sisters, Stella Scott Domangue of Chauvin and Patti Scott Guidry of Bayou Blue, La.; daughters-in-law, Bonnie Dover Callahan of Dularge, La., and Dannette Black Callahan of Houma; grandchildren, Michelle Callahan Eschette and husband Joel, Heaven Leonard, Salina Black Hebert and husband Jarrad, Gene Jr., Wesley and Derek Callahan; and great-grandchildren, Josie Eschette, Jace Eschette and Seth Hebert.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Cat” Callahan; parents, Clarence Scott Sr. and Ella Domangue Scott; sons, Michael “Coon” Callahan and Adam “Papoose” Callahan; brothers, Lawrence “Logan” Scott Sr. and Clarence Scott Jr.; and sisters, Beulah Scott Defelice and Brenda Scott Aycock.
Falgout Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
