Because they are awesome!

Best advice ever given by a swimming coach:

The best advice I’ve ever been given is to just relax and not worry about the other people around me in the pool. Just swim my race and do the best I can, no matter what the people around me are doing.

Best thing about swimming:

I’d say the best thing about swimming is the feeling that you get when you look at your time, and you did not think you went that fast, but you actually did. You get a sudden rush of adrenaline because the time that you had was so much faster than you expected it to be. That’s an awesome feeling to have.

Favorite movie:

The Dark Knight Rises

Crowning sports moment:

Placing second at the Division II State Swimming Championships, generating more than 30 points for my team throughout the meet.

Credentials:

Terrebonne High School standout Alec Adams is proof that Tigers can swim. The Tigers’ standout is a monster in the pool, routinely touching the wall faster than anyone else in his respective races. Adams earned All-District MVP honors in this season, while also finishing as Louisiana’s runner-up at the State Meet. Away from the pool, Alec said he wants to go to college so that he can be an architect as an adult.
