47th annual Spring Art Show, opening reception March 14, 2 to 4 p.m. Public opening, March 15-30, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The annual competition is open to regional artists. Features oils, acrylics, watercolor, mixed media, collage, batik, pastel, pen & ink, charcoal, pencil, freestanding small-scale sculpture and original hand-built or wheel-thrown pottery are accepted for judging. School Art Show, March 1-6. Includes all schools in Terrebonne Parish. Blue ribbon winners from each school will compete. Winners receive a free, 1-week art workshop in June.
