Rock-n-Roll Swing Summer Camp, Fridays, July 11-Aug. 15, from 6-7 p.m. A closing dance will be held Aug. 17, from 3-6 p.m. Registration is $55. Opens to ages 14-20. Participants will learn the fundamentals of couple dancing in an actual studio. Learn the skill, coordination and self-confidence to swing, jitterbug, cha-cha and salsa dance to pop music in six easy lessons. Students don’t have to have a partner to join. Adult chaperones trained in youth protection and safe environment are at each class. Lessons held at Studio 371, 317 School St. (one block from St. Francis Cathedral) in Houma.
