March 5, 2007Baton Rouge Symphony “3rd annual Barbeque of Seville” (Baton Rouge) March 18, 5 p.m., at the Baton Rouge Community College: Magnolia Performing Arts Pavillion. Tickets are $30. Maestro Timothy Muffit will conduct the orchestra.
Contemporary Arts Center “The Music of New Orleans Series: Tom McDermott and Friends’ New Traditional Jazz” (New Orleans) March 9, 8 p.m., at the Contemporary Arts Center in the Freeport McMoRan Theater. “I Can’t Stop Loving You” (Baton Rouge) March 17, at 8 p.m., at the RiverCenter Theatre, 275 River Rd. Tickets are $30, $40 and $50, and are available through Ticketmaster. Direct from London’s West End, the smash-hit show rocks with the legendary music of Ray Charles.
