The Houma-Terrebonne Chamber of commerce is excited to announce their General Membership Luncheon on May 23, 2023, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Plantation Inn of Houma.

The General Membership Luncheon will feature guest speaker Tommy Faucheux, President of Louisiana Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Association (LMOGA). “LMOGA will be celebrating their 100th year in business,” explained Houma-Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce CEO Nicol Montiville. “It is a big celebration for them, so we are excited to have Faucheux come and speak as they recognize all their accomplishments of the past century.” LMOGA’s mission is described on their website as, “Investing in people, communities, technology, infrastructure, new energies, and long-term solutions that will allow us to continue to meet America’s energy needs while protecting the environment.”

The General Membership Luncheon will also feature a local non-profit, and on May 23 will spotlight the Regional Military Museum for all their work in the community. “The Regional Military Museum is really special,” said Montiville. “They will be speaking about the museum, and some of the unique featured item they have obtained that no other museum has.” The Houma-Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce is still searching for a lunch sponsor for the event. Sponsors must be a member of the Chamber, and can call (985) 876-5600 if interested.

The General Membership Luncheon is $25 for members and $35 for non-members. Attendees may register for the event here. For more information, please visit the Houma-Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce Facebook or website.
