Attention local high school students! The Lafourche Parish Career Magnet Center will host their 5th Annual Career Expo this Wednesday, November 15, 2023 from 7:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at 6419 LA 308 in Lockport.
“In conjunction with National Apprenticeship Week, the Career Magnet Center will be hosting a Career Expo open to all 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students in Lafourche Parish,” says an official statement from the Career Magnet’s Center. “Lafourche Parish’s high school students will have the opportunity to meet with employers and continuing education providers for career opportunities.”
Representatives from over 30 local businesses will be present at the Career Expo. Interested parties can see potential job openings here. Local students who wish to attend but are not involved with the Career Magnet Center should speak with their school counselor to sign up, and businesses interested in participating should register here.
