In the spirit of holiday cheer, the Thibodaux Chamber of Commerce invites businesses, groups, and individuals to join the Christmas Parade on Sunday, December 3, 2023 starting at 2:30 pm. The parade, commencing at the corner of Afton and Audubon on Nicholls’ Campus, promises a festive procession through the heart of Thibodaux, concluding the merry march at Peltier Park.
All participants are welcomed to walk in the parade at no charge, provided they complete the required form and individual waivers. If you plan to play music, the Chamber requests that it be Christmas music. The complete parade route is as follows:
- Parade begins on the corner of Afton and Audubon on Nicholls’ Campus, continuing down Audubon
- Turn left onto Mernad Street, moving towards Canal
- Turn left onto Canal Blvd., to 7th Street
- Turn left onto 7th Street, moving toward the park
- The parade will end at Peltier Park
Line up will begin by the Nicholls State University Stadium at 1:00 p.m. The line-up roster will not be available until the day of the parade. Once arrived, participants will check in and be instructed. Please have any last-minute forms or waivers ready to give to a Thibodaux Chamber Staff member as the parade will roll out at exactly 2:30 p.m.
