Start out the holiday season on a healthy note! The Terrebonne Parish Library will host a community “Mastering Diabetes Series” for several days at the end of November, offering valuable wisdom and tips for those struggling with the disease.
Each session will take place at the Terrebonne Parish Library North Branch, and will feature the following:
- What is Diabetes and How it Affects the Body: Monday, November 27, 2023 beginning at 7:00 p.m. Hosted by the START Corporation.
- Physical Health Tips for Diabetes: Tuesday, November 28, 2023 beginning at 7:00 p.m. Hosted by Thomas Nguyen, Owner of Body By Thomas.
- The Mental Impact of Diabetes: Wednesday, November 29, 2023 beginning at 7:00 p.m. Hosted by the Empowerment Services, LLC
- Diabetes in Children in Pregnant Women: Thursday, November 30, 2023 beginning at 7:00 p.m. Hosted by the START Corporation.
