Comedy at the Distillery | June 16 at 7:00 p.m. | Bayou Terrebonne Distillers– Come early to secure a seat. This bayou comedy show features real comedians and open mic’ers from all over the state! Must be 18+ to attend. This month’s show is hosted by the hilarious Isaac Kozell, and a special double feature RedBean and Carrey Bee. Spigot’s will be on site with some amazing pub grub so come hungry! Want to show off your funny bone? Open mic sign ups start at 7 p.m. before show!
Houma Sports Cards & Collectibles Show | June 17 from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m | Courtyard by Marriott in Houma- The Houma Sports Cards & Collectibles Show will include everything from sports card vendors, to Pokemon card vendors, to shoe vendors! All tables are currently booked, so it will be a full event with lots to offer. Attendees will also be able to enjoy food, drinks, free parking, and door prizes. Read more here.
Donuts with Dads | June 17 at 11 a.m. | Terrebonne Parish Main Library– Enjoy donuts and family crafts to celebrate dads, uncles, grandpas, guardians and all for Father’s Day. Registration is required by calling 985-876-5861 ext. 115.
Juneteenth Festival | June 17 from 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. | Moss Park in Houma- Houma will make history with the first annual Juneteenth Festival in the area on Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 12:00-5:00 p.m. at Moss Park. All are invited to come out and “celebrate the freedom, resilience, resistance, restitution, and remembering of Black people in the United States.” Read more here.
Thibodaux on Tap | June 17 from 5:00 p.m.– 10:00 p.m. | Historic Downtown Thibodaux– Join us for the first craft beer festival in Thibodaux and Lafourche Parish! Craft beer samples, local food vendors, and live music are on tap for this inaugural event in Historic Downtown Thibodaux. Read more here.
Rodeo Night at BTD | June 17 at 5:00 p.m. | Bayou Terrebonne Distillers- Grab your cowboy hats and boots! Bayou Terrebonne Distillers is hosting a Rodeo Night on Saturday, June 17, 2023, following their Free French Lessons. Come on out to the Distillery to enjoy mechanical bull riding, line dancing, and a best dressed contest. As said on their flier, “Get down, turn around, and go to town!” Doors will open for the event at 5:00 p.m.
Juneteenth Freedom Festival | June 18 from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. | MLK Park in Thibodaux- Thibodaux Express, Shooting Stars, and Camp Moula are proud to present the Juneteenth Freedom Festival.
