Unlike any other event, Art Works features something new and different every year. Now in its 10th year, this open studio night, art sale, and auction directly benefits students in the Nicholls Department of Art. Enjoy a casual, fun-filled evening where attendees can participate in the creative process and make artwork to take home.

Art Works Directly Benefits Our Students.

Over the past years, Art Works has provided over $85,000 of support benefiting our art students and their academic and creative development. Funding, in the form of scholarships, study abroad assistance, and mini grants, provides students in the department with unique opportunities to see and study art outside of the classroom, to attend professional conferences, to learn from masters in their chosen field, and so much more. Most importantly, these educational opportunities would not otherwise be available to them. Every student in our department has benefited from new studio equipment acquired with Art Works funding.

Participation in this event allows you to support efforts not only to enhance and enrich educational experiences for our current students but also to promote the arts in our region more broadly. The Department of Art looks forward to welcoming patrons to see our studios, our students, and their art.
